#WeekendCoffeeShare – 2020-02-16

if we were having coffee, we’d be in the car and I’d promise that we would stop at Starbucks in a bit.  Once there, we can do this thing properly, with drinks, hot or cold, and all the glorious smells of brewing coffee that come with it.

The coffee share this weekend has been a bit up in the air, with Valentine’s on Friday and a fairly busy Saturday, but I wanted to check in real quick before the weekend was gone.

Our Valentine’s was great! We stayed in, I cooked a wild mushroom ragu with fettucini noodles, cherry tomatoes, and asparugus for our meal, and we watched a couple episodes of Jack Ryan during and after we ate. It was great! Hope you had a great one as well.

Saturday came and went in a blur, but there was running (4 miles), some time spent helping my daughter with some computer stuff, a decidedly simpler meal, and the watching of the SuperCross race with my wife. There was also a bit of reading in there, when I probably should have been writing, but reading.

Well, the Starbucks is just up ahead, so let’s continue this in there. I’ll see you inside!

Can’t come in right now? I understand. I’ll hope to see you soon, have a great week!

#WeekendCoffeeShare is an informal weekly link-up hosted now by Eclectic Alli that serves as something of a mind-dump for the week. If there are typos and what-not found here, I apologize, but mind-dump. I don’t do a lot of editing here as I like that it is more a stream of consciousness type post, normally written while drinking coffee, listening to music, and reflecting on the week gone by.

  1. Hey Russell,

I’d love to take that car trip – even to a Starbucks. We have a rare full sunny day here so we are heading out ourselves to enjoy some of it real soon. Holiday road trip you know.

And about that ragu – it sounds amazing. You need to open a restaurant, except that I’d be there too often I suspect.
