If we were having coffee, I may just sip along on a little something else if that suits you. You see, while it’s still early, I’ll be heading to bed soon. Tomorrow starts long hours at work for a bit and I may as well rest while I can. Let me say now that if I’m absent for a week or two, it’s work’s fault and like Arnold, I’ll be back.
There is a pot in the kitchen ready to go if you want fresh, hot coffee. All’s to do is hit the button and presto wammo, coffee. It’s amazing the time we live in.
So tonight, we’re listening to Smashing Pumpkins. They played 1979 on the radio earlier and it put me in the mood.
I managed a decent amount of writing during the week. Mostly at work on lunch break. That trend will come to a screeching halt this week. Oh well, what you gonna do, right? While all of that lunch break writing was for my book, I did manage to write and publish on the blog a #FridayFictioneers story titled “No Fingers, No Play” while at home one evening.
I had a few runs this week. The most in the past six months. It’s still not enough, but it’s coming along. That’s another thing that will be cut way back because of the upcoming work schedule, but like I said earlier, oh well.
I think I’m going to head out. Hope I’m not being short or anything, it’s just that I want to make sure everything is good for the morning. Lots to do, you know?
Anyway, ya’ll have a great week, and I’ll see you when I can.
#WeekendCoffeeShare is an informal weekly link-up hosted now by Eclectic Alli that serves as something of a mind-dump for the week. If there are typos and what-not found here, I apologize, but mind-dump. I don’t do a lot of editing here as I like that it is more a stream of consciousness type post, normally written while drinking coffee, listening to music, and reflecting on the week gone by.
You should give it a try!
Glad you got some runs in! I don’t like running in the wind myself. Glad the writing went well this week…me too! Awesome you have a story out there too.

Thanks Tammy! Unfortunately, no writing or running this week. Just work. Hope you’re having a great week, and good luck with your story!

Hey Russell. I’m hoping that our busy period is over for a while and that we can all catch our breath. I hope your busy weeks still turn out awesome. Regards,
