If we were having coffee, we would be sipping some nice cold brew as it’s been a warm weekend, and it just seems right. There’s some music playing, right now it’s a live version of ‘Round Here’ from Counting Crows, and it’s getting really close to beddy-bye time.
Since it’s a little late, and I’m tired, I’ll be quick.
Haven’t written much this week. Don’t know why I’ve been slacking, but there it is. Maybe just not feeling it is all. I’m almost done with ‘Blood and Fire’ and while some parts have been good, other parts have been challenging. I’ll be happy to get done with that one, and start a book that is a story and not a history. That should happen in the next day or two.
Good new! I’ve healed enough to run a little again. Yes, it’s slow going and low mileage, but it’s running. Even got a mile out on the trail Saturday after two on the bicycle.
Okay, I hate to be brief, but I’m going to do it and run off to bed. There’s work in the morning and I need the sleep. Hope everyone has a great week and that you enjoy the nice long afternoons now that the time’s changed back!
See you next week!
#WeekendCoffeeShare is an informal weekly link-up that serves as something of a mind-dump for the week. If there are typos and what-not found here, I apologize, but mind-dump. I don’t do a lot of editing here as I like that it is more a stream of consciousness type post, normally written while drinking coffee, listening to music, and reflecting on the week gone by.
It is hosted by Eclectic Alli. Check out her post for the week and maybe post a share of your own!
