If we were having coffee, I’d offer you a cup of some not so fresh coffee that’s hanging out in the kitchen. I brewed it a few hours ago, so it’s not the freshest, but it’s still good and it’s plenty hot. There’s also milk and water or a tea bag or two around if you would rather go that way.
I started last week off pretty good as far as writing goes. I spent Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday writing on lunch break at work, then coming home and doing a little more with it. Well, Monday and Tuesday had some at home work, it was Wednesday that I fell off the wagon, but it wasn’t totally my fault.
I had planned to write my Friday Fictioneers tale Wednesday, but I put it off until the next day. So okay, perhaps it was totally my fault.
Thursday was an all day and night at work. Friday was work, doctor, church event, and finally sleep to take the daughter to the Reindeer Run. I’m still not running, and I’m still not happy about it. She did great at the run, and I finally did my Friday Fictioneers tale, Tin Man Fan?, that night.
If you’ve never been to a Reindeer Run, you should check one out. I told my wife that I felt like I was stuck in a Hallmark movie! All the runners were dressed festively, many jingling there bells as they ran past.
I’m hoping this week is better at work resulting in a better week of writing. Last week, before everything went bad, I wrote a whole short story that needs editing and worked a bit on a longer project. All fun stuff, and since I can’t run anyway, I may as well write.
Hope you guys have a great week! I’ll see you here again next week!
#WeekendCoffeeShare is an informal weekly link-up that serves as something of a mind-dump for the week. If there are typos and what-not found here, I apologize, but mind-dump. I don’t do a lot of editing here as I like that it is more a stream of consciousness type post, normally written while drinking coffee, listening to music, and reflecting on the week gone by.
It is hosted by Eclectic Alli. Check out her post for the week and maybe post a share of your own!
