#WeekendCoffeeShare – Winterfest 2018

If we were having coffee, I’m not sure where you’d be sitting. The car is pretty cramped, but I’m sure we can make some room. As for coffee, we’ll be stopping for some soon. I know where the Starbucks is a little farther down the road, so we’ll stop there.

We’ve spent the weekend in Tennessee, at the Gatlinburg Winterfest. It was a good, good time spent with thousands of fellow Christians, praising our Father in Heaven.

Winterfest is always fun, and we look forward to doing it again! At the same time however, it does mess with the routine. Not that that’s a bad thing. I feel that we can use a little shaking up from time to time.

I do wish however that I would have had a little more time, or maybe motivation to do some writing over the weekend. The only thing I managed was a bit of editing on the way up. That was it. I even missed #FridayFictioneers, which I hate. With all the running about, up early and back in the hotel late, I just didn’t feel like getting it done.

Ordinarily, I would beat myself up a bit for this, but I’m not this time. It is what it is, and a new week lies ahead. Besides, no one is perfect, least of all me.

Oh look! There’s that Starbucks now. Why don’t we get some coffee and relax a bit before heading on home.

It was nice talking with you! I’ll see you back here next week, or I plan too anyway. Have a great week!

#WeekendCoffeeShare is an informal weekly link-up that is now hosted by Eclectic Alli. Check out her post for the week and maybe post a share of your own!

  1. Haha, thanks for the lift to Starbucks! Glad you had a good time at WinterFest, it sounds like a blast.. 🙂 I missed my blogging goals last week completely, but that just gives me more to write about this weekend!
