If we were having coffee, I would offer you a nice cup of instant since that’s all I have at the moment.
Not a fan of instant coffee? I do have some tea that I can offer in that case, but it may not have the kick of the coffee. Suit yourself though.
Once we were all settled in with our chosen drinks, I would ask if you have ever had a week in which you just didn’t want to do anything? That was this week for me.
Oh, I did manage a few things. I went to work of course, and even managed a couple little runs. One of those was in the snow, which made it special, but at the same time cold.
I believe that it is that cold that has me in such a funk lately. I don’t know how people live in cold climates all (or most) of the time. I suppose you can adjust. We humans are quite resilient like that. I’m thinking that it would take me some long time to adjust.
So I’m looking forward to Monday, when we are supposed to be back to around 60 degrees. I cannot wait!
In other news (non-weather related), I managed to get back to writing last night, working on something quite a bit longer than anything I’ve done in a while. It’s still in the early stages, so no peaking, but I hope to be able to share some chapters in a few months. If all goes well. Wish me luck!
As far as the week ahead goes, I’m going to write a fair amount more. With the cold almost behind us, my energy level should return. Energy equals words in my world.
I guess I’ll let you go for now. Stay tuned here for a short story later in the week and possibly a thought or two in poem form. Hope you all have a great week, see you in a bit!
#WeekendCoffeeShare is an informal weekly link-up that is now hosted by Eclectic Alli. Check out her post for the week and maybe post a share of your own!
