#WeekendCoffeeShare – Together Again

wp-image-1093036968If we were having coffee, I’d pour you a nice cup of joe and exclaim, “Aha, found you!”  This coffee share thing sure does move about.  Tonight, I’m drinking 8 O’Clock Colombian Coffee, so help drink up.  Any-who, it’s nice to sit for a few with a nice coffee and chat, don’t you think?

So what have you been up too?

As for me, I’ve been writing more.  That hasn’t necessarily translated into blogging more, but writing is writing, right?  The plan is to blog a bit more regularly, mostly short stories and poems, (like this #FridayFictioneers post from yesterday) while working on longer things.

Writing by the fire!

I started one of those longer things today.  Sitting out in the cold, beside a fire, I scribbled out a rough couple chapters and the start to a third.  So far, I like where it’s going.  It’s an idea I’ve had for a week or so, that I’ve been beating around inside my head and today I had the time to start.

I also opened a Patreon account.  This isn’t anything new, it’s been up a couple months or so, I just have never mentioned it before.  Mostly because I was in a writing funk, but partly because I don’t expect anything out of it.  It was kind of a curious whim that I explored, and now it’s there.  So, I’ll be putting some things there as well, just in case someone stumbles past, they won’t see a blank page.

I guess that’s about all for today.  I do hope that you have a good week!  Do take a cup of that coffee with you.  I’ll most likely end up brewing yet another pot tonight anyway, especially if I’m going to type up what I wrote out by the fire.

See you next week!

#WeekendCoffeeShare is an informal weekly link-up that is now hosted by Eclectic Alli.  (I think)  Check out her post for the week and maybe post a share of your own!

  1. Ahh, sitting and writing by the fire! I hope to continue campfires throughout the winter. I would write in my camping journal during our fall camping outings – I miss it.. Hadn’t heard of Patreon, thanks for sharing!

    1. A camping journal sounds great! Hope you get back to writing by the fire soon.

Patreon is a place that you can support creators or get support for your creative endeavors. It’s a good idea, but I’m not sure how practical it is for someone like myself. We’ll see.
