If we were having coffee, tonight, I would be having tea. (of the green variety) Tea because it is hydrating and relaxing, and I’ll be in the bed in just a few minutes. I’d be more than happy to hook you up with a cup ‘o joe though, or a tea if you prefer.
Hopefully, the past week treated you well. Mine went well right up until Saturday. Friday night really because that’s when I found the problem, and then Saturday trying to fix it.
What problem? Oh, sorry. I was just blathering about like you had been here the whole time. We had an issue with the air conditioner causing some ducts to condensate and the water began to affect the floor. That’s how we found it late Friday night. Not able to do a lot that night, I went to bed thinking about the next day and how my plans had suddenly changed.
Plans of a nice long run were gone in a flash. Instead, I spent the day crawling under and out from under the house umpteen times doing what I hope fixed the issue. No need to get into all that here and now, just know that there is still work to be done, and it will be but not tonight.
On a more pleasant note, that long run that I was hoping for Saturday got put in today. I managed 6.41 miles in 60 minutes. Yes, 6 miles is somewhat of a long run for me. I’ve done races that were longer, but my training runs, to this point anyway, are typically shorter. Not too bad for only getting a mile the week before. Looks like my ankle is going to be good from now on, so I need to start piling up the miles and maybe even make my long runs longer with race season upon us.
With that said, I think I’m going to turn in. It’s been a long weekend and I’m beat.
Yeah sure, take that cup with you, and be sure to bring it back next week and we’ll filler’ up again.

This was indeed written on the way home. Posted now that I am home. By the way, we do have coffee, tea, and various other things here to drink. Might I interest you in something. Have a great day, and God Bless You!
Ugh… the joys of owning a home.. Hope your situation is resolved soon.
Kudos on running! I just can’t…get into it, run for any length of time, bother!

No doubt! Sometimes it seems to be more trouble than it’s worth. And thanks for the kudos. It helps to be able to run off some of that home ownership stress.
